Update and Holiday in Derbyshire
Sorry there hasn’t been an update in a while. I’ve been busy with starting work, then Newt decided to install something on the computer for work and lost all my internet and email settings! So if you read this, and I used to have your email, please drop me a line, because I’ll have lost yours now!
I also thought it was about time I mentioned our holiday in Derbyshire. We stayed in a gorgeous cottage, in the roof of a converted barn in the middle of nowhere in Derbyshire. We had pretty good weather while we were there and went to various local attractions – Bolsover Castle, Hardwick Hall, the plague village of Eyam an otter sanctuary and local villages including Bakewell. Click on the photo of me and the donkey for more pictures. It was the most gorgeous day when we went to see the donkeys – fabulous blue skies, and little pygmy donkeys – heaven! And from there, you couldn’t see another house or farm or road or anything – I want to live there.
It was our wedding anniversary while we were there, and we went out for a meal to the Devonshire Arms – gorgeous home cooked food. It was a great way to spend our anniversary, and I think we may have to make a habit of going away in September.

lol at Newt’s comment. It looks like you had a fabulous time on your hols Rachel. Those donkeys are cute as are the otters. I love otters, they are so mischievous looking
The cottage looks great too, but I don’t think the window at Bolsover was quite big enough
Oh and I love the midwife mug…very cool!
