An update

November 16th, 2005

I haven’t really updated recently, because I haven’t really been doing much. Going to work, trying to find my feet, coming home, and sleeping.

I’ve started my Studying Mammals OU course, and I’m really, really glad I signed up for it. It gives me something to do on my days off, yet it isn’t so hard or so time consuming that I’m getting stressed out about it.

At work, I’ve been on a suturing course, so I’m now qualified to put perineums back together. Haven’t had the opportunity to put it into practice yet. I am also getting a bit more used to things, I don’t panic quite so much at the beginning of a shift, and I seem to be getting a little bit more used to things. It still takes me a ridiculously long time to complete all my paperwork though!

At home, the house is still on the market, and today we’re off to B&Q to buy some fixings so that we can put the sign up. That will be interesting! Two people, not of a DIY inclination, with a big piece of wood and a drill. I’ll take a photo of our efforts later! We’ve also seen a house that we really like the look of. Nice house, nice location, wouldn’t need much work doing and within our price range – sounds perfect. We’re going to see that next week, but I’m trying not to get my hopes up, because we haven’t really had any interest in ours yet.
