Moving
Well, we start the first chapter of our ‘moving to Oldham’ adventure tomorrow. We’re taking over the first batch of stuff. I really never knew we had so much junk! I’ve bought boxes from Ikea, liberated them from work, but today I may have taken it a step too far when I bought a ‘home movers’ pack of boxes, bubble wrap, tape and tissue paper from a big storage place. I’ve now spent more money on boxes than on the removal van. Will Mr Newt be happy about this? Very unlikely. I’ve bought so many boxes I can’t even lift them out of the car. Ooops. Cats will probably like it though.
We’re also having ‘Christmas’ at the end of this week, and so I still need to wrap Christmas presents – that’s my next job today. I’ve got a lovely week off from work, and I intend to enjoy it as much as I can – catch up with friends and OU stuff, relax, sleep late, knit and generally be happy knowing that I don’t have to get up at 5:30am and scrape ice off the car. Yay!!!
