Assignment finished
Just finished my latest TMA for my OU maths course. What a relief. Although I should really probably already get going on the next one!

Nothing really exciting to report. It’s been far too hot for exciting happenings. I’ve mainly been at work, during weather when it’s far too hot to work, especially in a building that has aircon in name only, and windows that don’t open. Oh, and should you be one of those smug people blogging about how you’re cold sitting at your desk with your icy cold air conditioning and four jumpers on – SHUT UP!!!! I don’t want to know. I have to wear a stupid double breasted uniform when it’s 35C indoors. At least I’m not one of the poor women trying to give birth in these conditions. British people really aren’t made for this weather.
When not at work, I’ve been working on a TMA for the OU, and doing not much else really. Oh, I did get some new work shoes today, and I’m off to the dentist tomorrow. What an action packed life I lead.

We’ve just bought a new camera. It’s a Fuji A600, and I absolutely love it! It’s still quite heavy on batteries, but I think that’s probably true of any digitial camera, and it is better than our old one.
But I’m just blown away by the quality of the photos. I’m probably the world’s worst photographer, but even I’ve managed to take some half decent shots. 
So far they’re mostly of the garden and the cats, but I’m going to make a concerted effort to try to take more photos when we go out and so on. There’s an album here of all the photos I’ve taken so far with the new camera. The cats are slightly reluctant models though.
The downside to all this though is that we seem to be fast running out of webspace, so we’re on the lookout for a new unlimited deal.

Will you look at my little weather pixie – 30C out there. Far too hot for the likes of me.
Too hot for cats as well. They’ve done nothing except sit under bushes in the garden for the last 2 days.
