My kitchen smells gorgeous!

I’ve spent the day, and most of yesterday, baking for Christmas.
I’ve made two Christmas puddings and a Christmas cake. So now the kitchen smells of cinnamon, all spice, brandy and fruit. Yummy. The downside is that my electricity bill will be off the scale this month, because the cake took 5 hours to bake, and the puddings take 8 hours to steam! I left my mum with the job of making mincemeat.

All in all, not really that much hassle, and soooooo much nicer than the shop bought alternatives.
