I’ve decided that I’m going to have a go at looking at my family tree. I’ve never been particularly interested in this, so I imagine I won’t get very far before I decide that it’s too difficult and boring, but I’m going to start at least. Maybe I’ll manage to find other people who are doing a similar tree to me and we can merge them, who knows. I’m doing it on ancestry.co.uk, and actually I think the internet makes it a lot more fun and interesting than it would otherwise be. Problem is, I was never any good at remembering people’s birthdays when they were alive, never mind now they’re dead – and that does make it all a bit more tricky!

Just seen a job for a Midwifery lecturer. Not that I want a new job right now, but eventually I thought I might want to do this. But they ideally want you to have a PhD, and I really don’t think I want to spend another 5 years studying. And they definitely want you to have a track record in research, which i don’t have.
So, I then saw a job in Midwifery research – to get that, guess what I need? Yup – a PhD. Maybe I’ll just stay as a hospital midwife after all!

As I’m clearly not very good at this, let’s just start with some photos of Henry and Evie. Mr Newt has apparently added some kind of Gallery plug in thingy to make adding photos easier. But i’ve no idea where it is……
Ah, OK – but is that a little diddy image, or a reasonable sized one? Who knows?
Anyway, it’s Henry in his Bumbo. He did have toys on his tray, until Evie decided he needed different ones.
And here’s Evie – all dressed up and ready to go!
